Getting started
1. Create an account. You need a username, an email address, and a password of at least 10 characters. We don't ask for your real name, address, or phone number, and we never will.
2. Collect your starting Doodles. New accounts get ⓓ 25,000 automatically.
3. Pick a game. Browse the games on the home page, click one, and play.
4. Watch your score climb. Your best score for each game goes on the leaderboard. Playing also earns you badges.
Doodles
Doodles (ⓓ) are the Site's virtual currency. Some games use them for entry fees or wagers.
How do I get more?
- Free top-up: ⓓ 20,000 every 7 days, claimed from your wallet.
- Winning games: games that take wagers pay out wins.
- Earning badges: most badges come with a Doodles reward.
Can I buy them?
No. There is no way to spend real money on PadPlayer. We don't sell Doodles and we don't accept payments.
Can I cash them out?
No. Doodles have no cash value and can't be redeemed, transferred, or traded. See the Doodles Disclaimer for the full explanation.
I ran out. Now what?
Wait for your next free top-up, or play games that don't require a wager. Running out costs you nothing.
Scores and leaderboards
Each game keeps your personal best. That's what appears on the game's leaderboard — not your most recent score, and not the total of all your plays.
There's also an overall leaderboard that adds up your best score across every active game, so playing a variety of games helps you there.
Only registered players appear on leaderboards. Guest plays aren't ranked.
Badges
There are 27 badges to earn, plus a few secret ones we won't spoil. They come in five tiers — bronze, silver, gold, platinum, and legendary — across categories like play volume, skill, loyalty, wealth, social, and discovery.
Most badges award Doodles when you unlock them. They're checked automatically after each game you finish, so there's nothing to claim — they just appear.
Your account
What information is public?
Your username, avatar, scores, badges, and leaderboard positions. Your email address is never shown to other players.
I forgot my password
Email admin@padplayer.com from the address on your account and we'll help you reset it. (Self-service password reset is on the roadmap.)
I'm locked out after failed logins
Too many wrong passwords in a row temporarily locks the account as an anti-brute-force measure. Wait a few minutes and try again.
How do I delete my account?
Email admin@padplayer.com and we'll remove it. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
Fair play
Don't cheat, don't use bots or scripts, and don't try to exploit bugs for Doodles. The server tracks every game session and flags anything unusual for review.
If you find a bug — especially a security bug — please report it to admin@padplayer.com rather than using it. Reporting responsibly won't get you in trouble; exploiting will.
Troubleshooting
A game won't load
Try a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5, or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac). If it still won't load, tell us which game and which browser.
My score didn't save
Scores save when a game finishes properly. If you close the tab mid-game, the session is abandoned and nothing is recorded. If a game finished and the score still didn't appear, let us know.
My balance looks wrong
Every change to your balance is recorded in a permanent ledger, so we can always reconstruct exactly what happened. Email us and we'll look it up.
